A footing for a memorial bulletin board was poured last week on the Baptist church lawn. The masonary work is to be completed later. A wedding is planned for Miss Coleen Coulter and James Morris Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Peoria. Rev. Ray Smith will officiate.

Mrs. Kay Preuitt, the postmaster at Goodfield, attended the National League of Postmasters' State Convention in Carbondale. Kay reports an instructive and enjoyable time. Time out was taken to tour parts of southern Illinois. Among sights visited were Giant City park in the scenic Ozark area and Bald Nob with its outstanding cross.

Mrs. Ilse Meyer, twin sister of the bride, Eureka, was matron of honor. She wore a beige, brown and orange printed voile gown with full 'sheer sleeves. A high neckline and empire waist with a semi-full skirt accented the gown. Other bridesmaids were dressed the same as the matron of honor and included Mrs.
