Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Cath Clarke Guardian Honestly, there is no earthly reason for the existence of this film; it might work for the Bundyphiles but it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth for everyone else. Rated: 1/5 Nov 30, 2021 Full Review Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Brian Lowry CNN.com American Boogeyman might be dreck, but the title gets one thing right: This boogeyman isn't going away as long as there's a buck to be made off the name. Aug 27, 2021 Full Review Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (3) John Serba Decider Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman aims for chilling and lands on boring, and fails mightily to justify its existence. Dec 22, 2021 Full Review Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Brian Costello Common Sense Media It's not a bad movie from a technical standpoint. But it doesn't really contribute anything new to a story told too many times about a sociopath who doesn't deserve so much of 'the Hollywood treatment,' or any of it, really. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2021 Full Review Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Not only doesn't understand the definition of "boogeyman," but reaches a new low of tastelessness, transforming Bundy's barbaric ways with female victims into bottom-shelf schlock Rated: F Sep 1, 2021 Full Review Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Ted Bundy: American Boogeyman does little to add to the cinematic legacy of both Ted Bundy and the subsequent investigation into his murders. Maripaz H This was awful. From the acting to the vast amount of inconsistencies with the actual story. Yikes. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/30/23 Full Review Rachel A The movie was informative and kept me wide awake because I feel so bad for every victim. Ted Bundy was a real killer who only cared about himself and is the biggest liar. We don't know because he won't say how many people he killed. He should of been on the list of child molesters because of the window peeping and what a straight thief! He absolutely was a menace who after 40 years we find to this day fascinating because it's so unbelievable that anyone would escape jail not once but twice. I grew up while Bundy was on the run and my dad knew one of the detectives at least that was involved in Florida where Bundy thought he would be safe because he was so far from Washington or Utah or Colorado.....such a manipulative and yet smart man who wasted his mind and life by destroying and killing others. Serial killer who we can only guess how many people he actually killed. I don't understand how he lived without working more. I know he worked with Ann Rule at a suicide prevention Center but what else? Just living off women???? That is something else that bothers me, a man that won't work. That says it all..... worthless as the day is long. In every way. Good movie and very informative. I don't want to give the movie away but if you are interested in serial killers this one's for you. A must see. He survived by using women and stealing and he somehow even had at least one kid! I had to look away a few times but the movie kept me watching. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/26/23 Full Review xox I'd watch it again just because I think it's interesting and I can't stand watching documentaries, but it's quite obvious that the creators are just trying to make money off of this situation. I guess in the end they got their goal. It's good though. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Kayla F Bad. Lots of creative liberties used by the filmmakers. Acting is not good. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/22 Full Review steve d CMM gives it his all, but the production is clearly cheap. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Kate E Wow! This was just a disaster. Excruciatingly awful script. Piss poor acting. Why bother to try and pare down the mountain of information and documentation available on Ted Bundy to 92 minutes. This was 90 minutes that could have been better spent watching paint dry. 😡🤦🏼‍♀️ Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/22 Full Review Read all reviews
