How do I order OTC items from CVS? ›

You can also order by phone at 1-866-819-2516 (TTY: 711) or online at https://www.cvs.com/otchs/wellcare.

You may check check the balance on your OTC benefit card by calling the number on the back of your card or signing in to your OTC plan provider's online member portal.

The OTC benefit offers you an easy way to get generic over-the-counter health and wellness products by going to any OTC Health Solutions-enabled CVS Pharmacy®, CVS Pharmacy y mas®, or Navarro® store. You can also order by phone at 1-866-528-4679 (TTY: 711) or online at https://www.cvs.com/otchs/healthnet.

You can also get everyday items like laundry detergent, soap and toothbrushes.

OTC items are not eligible if they are normally used for general health, are not used to treat a medical condition (e.g. lotion, shampoo (except for products used to treat dandruff), toilet paper, lip balm) or are cosmetic in nature (e.g. teeth whitening products, wrinkle reducers).

How do I check the balance on my OTC card? Once your card is activated, you should learn how to check your account details. You'll especially need to check your balance and the amount you've used. Most cards have a toll-free number listed on the back of the card, which you can call to find out.

As long as you are an active member, your OTC Card will automatically reload on the first day of every quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1). You have the full three months to use your benefit amount. Be aware that any balance remaining at the end of a quarter does not roll over to the next quarter.

Your OTC benefit helps you save money on a wide range of over-the-counter health and wellness products. You can use your benefit amount to purchase products such as pain relief, first aid, cold and allergy medicine, dental care items and more.

Can I buy paper towels with my OTC card? ›

You can use your card to buy things like: Food and fresh groceries, like meat, vegetables, and canned goods. Everyday items, like toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant and shaving cream. Household goods, like laundry detergent, paper towels and tissues.

The OTC Plus card cannot be converted to cash, nor can it be used to purchase Part B or Part D prescription drugs. Certain brands may not be eligible at all locations.

Wireless, Internet, and Utility Bill Payment: You can use your OTC card to pay your internet, wireless, and utility bills at any in-store or online retailer that accepts VISA.

Items that do not qualify include non-food and pet items, alcohol, baby formula, candy, chips, coffee shop items, desserts, fresh baked goods, soda, and tobacco. To check if an item is approved, members can download the Healthy Benefits Plus app, scan the product and it will advise if item is allowable.

Your OTC benefit can be used once throughout the month i you use the home delivery service, that is, i you orderby phone or online. However, you can use your benefit unlimited times at any OTCHS-enabled CVS Pharmacy during the month.

At local retailers, take your items to the checkout lanes. When you check out, swipe your OTC Plus/OTC card for payment. Purchases of approved items are automatically deducted from your card balance.
