@XfinitySupportNobody at any xfinity/verizon location or support should be able to move a phone number to a different phone by themselves. Positive identity verification preferably by passing an online security key test should be necessary for the employee to succeed.

@VerizonSupport Not looking to engage in a huge conversation. I've been told by several Verizon reps that FIOS is a no go in my area, Belair rd at Cedonia Ave. Also that because of contractual agreements with the city, Comcast has the only high speed internet service.
